Five for Friday March 13, 2014

Teachers count down the days until spring break too :)
Yes, yes we do. Only 4 more teaching days. I've gotta make everyday count due to the lovely FCAT. No time for slacking off. It is go go go go go go go. Do you have standardized testing as well?

Oh how I love Five for Friday. I look forward to it! Here are my five random things.

I was the proud co-host of the Florida Teacher Blogger Meet-Up. The whole idea started over socks with Amy from Learning Lessons with Mrs. Labrasciano. Click the blog buttons on the picture below to visit each co-hosts' blog.

Thanks Leigh from The Applicious Teacher for creating the above labeled picture!

I seriously can't wait until the next one. These ladies are ALL fabulous! I was star-struck! Let me tell you. It was like a dream come true!

This little cutie paaa-tuuuuutie came to the classroom to visit my students Oh, were they happy to see her. They've been asking me ALL YEAR to bring her. I finally got a a chance to. I really enjoyed seeing how kind and compassionate they were with my daughter.

I introduced word clouds to my kiddos this week. They are now obsessed! I am too.  It is an easy way to spice up any lesson. We use the website Go check it out. Your kiddos will love it as well.

Who doesn't love a giveaway? I know I love them. I'm lucky enough to be participating in TWO fabulous giveaways this week. This is the first one. FlapJack Educational Resources is hosting this one. Over 84 bloggers have donated prizes for this wonderful giveaway. There are 8 bundles. I've included the bundle with my product below for easy entry.
