Five for Friday

With the craziness of the end of the year, I took a break from the weekly linky party with Doodlebugs Teaching. I'm back this week!

Here are my 5 random things from this week!

Hello summer. I might hate the season, but I love not having to report to school. Time to take this time to recuperate from this past year.  Do you have any summer plans?

Are you one of my 1800 followers on IG? If you are, then you have seen this picture a lot! If not, click here to join the fun!
I created this neat little hash tag game. It is really simple to play.
I've created a fun linky/instagram party for all my fellow teachers. For my fellow bloggers...copy the above picture and write your own post about your top 3 summer goals.
Instagram peeps, snapshot the above picture, post it with the hash tag #teacherslovesummer. Write about your 3 goals for summer and tag 3 friends.

I've been a busy little bee. My store was looking to empty.  Well, I fixed that problem. Four new products are up and running. The first pic below is a best seller for me. Everyone seems to love the chalkboard paired with the bright writing and clip art. I've included 6 different backgrounds to pick from. Click here to head on over to my store.

I love the chalkboard design, but it just didn't work with my classroom color scheme. To fix this, I created the set below. I love the brightness! Bright colors = happiness.

While I was creating the above sets, I was thinking of what else I needed in the classroom for next year. I didn't have much bulletin board space (or the time to constantly update one), so I decided to create a clip chart. The sets below are great if you use AR or Reading Counts. This is a wonderful way to keep track of your kiddos' reading. Plus, it includes certificates to motivate your kiddos to make it to the next level. I created a chalkboard edition and bright edition .Both match my ELA Reading Comprehension Posters.

Look at my products in use! What an awesome site. Thank you to the teachers that posted these pics for me (except the last one. That is my pic in my room).

Our last meet-up was back in March. Our next one is October 11th. I know it is still far away, but we have lots of planning to do. Who is we? Well, I'm cohosting this event with these fabulous ladies

Tammy from Primary Paradise

Not in Florida, but still want to join the fun? Come on down! We'd love to have you.

For everyone that is coming, you will not leave the event empty handed. I can't even describe the goodies already lined up. And we are still adding more each day! Email me at malocasc@gmail.com to get on the list (so we know how many goodies we need).

Well, that's all everyone! Happy summer!

  1. I love the AR point club idea, my daughter's school does something similar to that. At my school we just give the kids who made their goals a treat at the end of each nine weeks, but I really like the idea of a point club much more! Thanks for sharing!
